Hi Steve,

On some BMW vehicles, like the E53 & E46 I think, you had to jump pins 7&8 together to communicate using a J2534 device. Pin 6 on this X3 as I recall was designated D-TXD according to the WebIsta diagram. Alldata shows it as L CAN H. This X3 is an ... Login to read more.
