Bryan, I just checked the outside case temperature of the alternator on Mr. Bernstein's 2002 Dodge Caravan/3.3. Now, the beast does not have DRL, and the heater fan was not on. 150 degrees F, but I am sure that if there existed a slightly higher load, the case... Login to read more.
