Andre, thanks for your message. Apparently I missed it somehow. Because I overhaul/repair alternators, I simply could not believe peak temperatures of 392F. The SRE bearing tolerance ring would probably melt at 392F, and I doubt the bearings could take that te... Login to read more. ![]()
