Factory oversized stems and undersize crank?

Hi All,

We pulled apart a 1972 2000 cc Pinto engine this week. I know the history of this car and am sure it has never been apart. It has unworn intake valve stems of .324" and exhaust at .323". Motor manual says standard size is .3162" and ... Login to read more.
