Yo! I think you are talking about a different set of numbers! A pH of 9.5 is fine in a cooling system. 4.0 to 6.5 is definitely not--anything less than 7.0 is acidic. 6.5 will cause head gasket erosion, water pump erosion and more. 4.0 would cause your engine ... Login to read more.
