Nissan 3.0L--EGR Operation and Code 32 Criteria?

NetTechs:

1994 Nissan Quest 3.0L V6. Underhood label says certified under Federal Light Truck over 3450 pounds Emissions (NOT Calif). Code 32 (EGR system fault) stored. Found silicone hose at the "EGRC-BPT" valve rotted/baked to crumbs.
