Thanks, Jeff. Yes it is the CTM that I'm replacing. I had read in the archives that at least in the 2000 Dakotas that the odometer was stored in the BCM and that if a used unit was installed it would write the donor vehicle mileage into the instrument cluster ... Login to read more.
