Nick,

When I worked dealership in the 1970s. many of the Chevy truck engines were produced with .005" over-sized bearings. GM did this to salvage flawed crankshafts. The 005" bearings were available only through GM. Otherwise, the crank had to be reground fo... Login to read more.
