Any idea what the rack is originally from? Might be able to find a spec from the OE, if you can figure out which Mustang ;<) it originally came from. Working on Volvo, a bit...a smidgen... a touch... of up and down on the rack is pretty normal. Too tight, and ... Login to read more.
