Re: Timing cover; oil pan on or off?
I've found if you just loosen the front pan bolts back to the crossmember, it makes it easier. I use two punches to push the cover down on the front pan seal and on to the alignment pins. Now if it's soaked in oil and the pan gasket is gooey, I'd add a pan gas... Login to read more. ![]()
