I don't think it really matters, so long as it's CONSISTANT. Some diesel engines don't even have a compression specification. You are looking for compression RELATIVE to all the other cylinders. IMHO, flaws show up easier at lower cranking speeds. I do 'em one... Login to read more. ![]()
