I know you said no ''vacuum leak'', but by any chance some body perform a tune -up and forgot to install the PCV O-ring? Get that a lot on series 2 3.8L . Never bothered to scan PID's. Strangest noise would emit from intake plenum-yup it's missing...... Login to read more.
