Check the alternator mounting bolts. Seems to be common to find them loose after someone does a timing belt. Lack of alt grounding causes high voltage, and fries the PCM. 3000 RPM can be a limp mode. The cluster relies on data from the now fried PCM for gauge ... Login to read more. ![]()
