Here's a thought:

If that truck has a DPFE sensor, short the 5V-Ref line at the sensor to ground and see if the truck stalls out. I honestly don't know if it will or won't but if it does stall and the cause of the DTC is a bad DPFE sensor, you might fisit by... Login to read more.
