Re: popping through intake on acceleration
Start with vacuum gauge. Should have STEADY 17-20 in. hg. at idle. Regular fluctuations indicate valve/valve spring/cam problems. Steady but low may mean valve timing. If it's normal at idle, go to fuel and ignition. We've let scan tools get in the way of basi... Login to read more. ![]()
