2001 Cadillac Hearse P0741 TCC stuck off

We have this 2001 Cadillac Hearse with a history code P0741 (TCC stuck off) and a MIL.

When driving this thing, the TCC seems to work fine, with controlled slip, and turns off and on as designed, cold and hot.
