the "bump" is pressure building in the cyl as the piston approaches TDC. The exhaust-restrictions the reason for this. In an un-restricted cylinder. the exhaust-stroke will flatten-out because the exhaust gasses can vent and pressure will not build in the cyl... Login to read more. ![]()
