Anti-seize on the pads just dry up and leave behind a solid powder [at least the permatex we use]. Come to think of it, nothing really lasts the life of the pads. Cleaning and re-lubing when pads are about 1/2 worn is good advice [if there is anything left of ... Login to read more.
