IDK on this chevy, but my 87 SR5 turbo pickup the light comes on when there is about a pint of oil left in it. Same with my 95 civic. On the civic when it is down to about a quart it will turn the CEL on. So they shouldn't be called oil level sensors, they sho... Login to read more.
