Octane is basically designated due to how long it takes to burn. Higher octane fuel burns slower, therefore you use less. This is why alcohol(E85) fuel is not the bargain ANYONE has made it out to be. It burns so fast, that any money you save buying it is quic... Login to read more. ![]()
