Are you taking a sooted/fouled O2 sensor from bank 1 and putting it in bank 2 to clean it up?

If so please consider this:

P0171 lean bank 1

+30 fuel trims on bank 1 = computer adding fuel

Dirty O2 sensor on bank 1 (rich running condition)
