I have a '97 Bavarian Money Waster here, 540.... with what sounds like a very obvious timing chain rattle from idle up through any RPM chosen. Sounds like slack tensioner, can even feel it lightly in the valve cover... more-so on right hand (passenger side). ... Login to read more.
