Hi all, I have a 97 Subaru Outback,2.2l with 75 K on it. It seems to have recently developed a slight piston slap on cold start. It doesn't sound like the lifter rattle I am familiar with. The weather just turned cold <20 deg F. The noise goes away in 1 or 2 m... Login to read more.
