The wires can be mixed up ,But the same ref voltage circuit from PCM goes to TPS and also a few other sensors [...] circuit. The signal wire from the TPS goes back to PCM as imput, not ref [...] there is an open ckt the PCM senses/calculates this from behavior... Login to read more.
