I just finished fixing an '05 325i that shredded the belt due to the intermediate pulley siezing and coming apart. The belt strings wrapped up behind the water pump pulley so tight, it snapped the pulley. (Plastic, ya know.) I didn't realize the pulley was bro... Login to read more.
