Hey Andy, a look in MOD had a tip about the tensioner itself having a sleeve where the spring hooks. This sounds like yours doesn't have a sleeve to take away the wear on one spot of the spring hook. Both OE and SKF tensioners show a sleeve thru WP. HTH Login to read more.
