Re: Rear noise/vibration
If it isn't a gear whine, it is probably pinion bearing noise. Under power the pinion tries to "un-screw" itself from the ring gear putting most of the load on the rear pinion bearing. The opposite happens on coast loading the front bearing. Login to read more. ![]()
