Does a 96 GM 2.4 need CMP sensor to start?
This was towed in. Customer said driving down the road it started" running bad". Pulled over & shut it off. Try to start & eng turns over about 3 revolutions then "locks up" like timing is off. Scoped cam / crank. CKP sensor looks textbook perfect but CMP sign... Login to read more.
