according to Identifix, and my observation on 1 car i had a problem with, without the 24x the pcm will not turn on the fuel pump. I'm not all that familiar with Garbage Motors systems but the 2001 Olds Silhouette would not run when the 24x was missing... Jeff Login to read more.
