Scott, if you're still having trouble , look here ( [...] [[...]] ) it shows internal regulator and it shows 10 ohm resistor in line (much lower than 68). I don't see any reason not to connect #3 and #4 ,as the regulator connects them after system startup. Fee... Login to read more.
