Recently, I had a '04 5.4L do this too, bearings on intake of #3 cylinder. And the tower caps were rough too. Can't remember exact milage, but under 100K miles. Came in for misfire code on #3 and it was a fairly intermitant misfire and just started doing this.... Login to read more.
