If there is no damage to the tensioner etc I agree that the crank should not care how it is turned. I have not seen push starting damage any VW/AUDI tdi. I have seen the belt jump if the engine is rotated backwards or has anything in it. I have seen pebbles, o... Login to read more. ![]()
