Re: welding a broken block
I've done it once on an old 5.7 block for the exact same reason. It was a 4 bolt block and someone had used the wrong bolt for the starter which made the corner break off. I ground a V on the edges of the piece and used nickel rod to stitch it back together. T... Login to read more. ![]()
