I like to eliminate vac advance ( bending wires causing problems thing) I like to curve the mechanical advance, all in by 2300 rpm...and a SBC...total advance 30 - 32 degrees seems to work very well. SBF's like 37- 38 total. My 400 HP windsor, total timing 37*... Login to read more. ![]()
