the multi-strikes are normal at idle. ford uses the multi-strike coil system to improve idle and lower emissions. what are you using to scope the ignition? don't rely on codes to tell you which cylinder is misfiring. scope each cylinder at idle and at 2000 rpm... Login to read more.
