Howdy again,

Cranking vacuum is meaningless unless you seal off the throttle body. The more air by-passing the throttle plate (IAC Open), the lower cranking vacuum. BTW, its measured in inches of mercury, not pounds. (XX"hg). You sure you're not mixing up yo... Login to read more.
