It looks like there were just enough teeth left for the crank sprocket to grab. One or two more and it would have been a catastrophe like a recent 05 Kia 1.6 looked like. Valves stuck sideways in piston tops, 2 pistons with no tops, "S" shaped valve stems, etc... Login to read more.
