Hello, Techs!

Does anyone know how the 2nd design chain tensioners on '97 2.4l quad 4 engines is supposed to work? I retracted mine, and now I can't get it to take up slack. Note: This is NOT the older external spring types or the one my manual seems to show... Login to read more.
