Based on many vehicles I have tested, I would say that your test results are too high. I typically see less than 0.5 psi at idle and about 1 to 1 1/2 psi at 2,500 RPM. The most I have seen is 5-7 psi at idle with 15 psi (pegged the needle) at 940 RPM... Login to read more.
