The 4.2 is famous for intake leaks. Really, its just a bigger 3.8 and Ford probably didnt build a bigger P.O.S. of an engine. Ive seen them leak vacuum, leak coolant, both and internally and externally as well. Seen a few ciol packs fail also. Good luck. Login to read more.
