I know the 2.5L DOHC Subarus have a bad problem with head gasket leaks. They usually won't spit coolant out of the radiator but they bubble enough to build an air pocket behind the thermostat and prevent it from opening. It's usually #4 cylinder. I'm not sure ... Login to read more.
