Yeah, its pretty toasty. Typically for amperage, fuses for most loads are rated at double expected maximum maintained amperage (to allow for on/off spiking or momentary increases). So if its a 30 amp circuit, on high you expect no more than 15 or 16 amps const... Login to read more.
