marcus, 4 degrees at idle with vacuum line plugged is normal. it will advance up to 10 degrees when you apply vaccum, which would eaqual 14 degrees. try putting a in line valve on your vaccum line or hook it up to a port that does not adavance until car is acc... Login to read more.
