Hi Steven, you are correct,on older GM'S and CV's. But I think in 2006 and newer they went to rack and pinions. Don't have an answer for OP other to say I did a 2008 today and didn't have a [...] to snake it out between hoses and steering gear [...] everywhere... Login to read more.
