By putting it in OHM mode You applied a voltage to O2 sensor. If You had had a scanner hooked up You would have seen O2 voltage go to say 900mV to maybe 1.2 V. The ECM sees this, takes it as a rich condition and adjusts A/F ratio accordingly. I have seen this ... Login to read more.
