We lately had a dakota with 4.7 and 125,000 miles. It used 3-4 quarts at each oil change- lugs looked good. I removed all plugs and poured sea-foam in the cylinders, then cranked over. Let it sit then over the weekend we did this 4-5 times. Cured it. Good luck... Login to read more.
