FIX regarding 96 VW jetta no start/starter stays engaged

turns out the cheapo ign. switch was partially melted and burned causing irratic starting.I was getting cranking w/no start and also starter would stay engaged [...] the way, getting to the switch was fun.2hrs THANKS ALL TDFers Login to read more.
