GM BCM what needs to be programmed on a new one ?

I have a 2001 impala, some AM black box was hooked to the BCM lt blue wire, yanked it ALL out and made the wiring FACTORY.

Needs a new BCM, if I get a new one can I install it and program the PATS or does more programming need to be done.
