Hi Scott. Don't know for sure on chryslers... but on gm's i have used the a/c fuse for the problems that you outline (bulkiness etc...) gm's 10 amp a/c fuse is a constant power fuse. If you use your jumper pack, you can ground the ground lead to the engine the... Login to read more.
