This thing is still bugging me. I'm beginning to believe the vacuum advance needs to be unplugged permanently. I verified the crank balancer hasn't slipped, so TDC is accurate. Vehicle runs good at high idle warm (neutral)or cold w/choke on but base timing now... Login to read more.
